Alcohol soluble dammar resin is mainly synthesized by modifying natural dammar resin. It is the product obtained by adding modification on the basis of natural dammar resin. It has the characteristics of high luster, high hardness, strong adhesion and fast drying. It is often used as auxiliary resin for paper varnish and ink to improve the adhesion and gloss of ink. The quality of the product is basically comparable to that of similar products of natural dammar. Thermal stability and weather resistance is better, heating without odor characteristics, soluble in ethanol, methanol, ethyl acetate and other solvents, and acrylic ester and EVA resin, etc. has a very good compatibility. Widely used in a variety of environmentally friendly adhesives, coatings, inks, sealing materials, plastic modifiers, advanced flux, cosmetics, medical tape, pharmaceutical additives and so on. It can improve adhesion, film toughness and gloss. Mainly used in alcohol-soluble ink, composite ink, surface printing ink, increase adhesion, gloss, etc..

Scope of application and use:
It is used as auxiliary resin of main resin in ink industry to improve the adhesion and gloss of ink. Used in coating industry to produce alkyd varnish.
Reference dosage:
5-8% (solid) for ink auxiliary resin
20-35% (solid) for coating industry
Dammar Resin: Ethanol = 1:1
